In 2004, the China Magic Art Society hosted the Beijing Golden Dragon Magic Award Festival. During this festival, famous magicians from Switzerland, the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, Ukraine and Argentina competed and performed shows at the Capital Stadium for an audience of more than 70,000. In October 2006, the International Close-up Magic Masters Show in Beijing also enjoyed great ovation from the audience.
