The Beijing Capital International Airport is open to more than 200 international and domesticairlines from many countries in the world and many cities throughout China. The newly-built terminal 3 in the Beijing Capital International Airport is one of the biggest single terminal building constructions in the world with an annual flow of 76 million people. The new airport is one of the top ten biggest airports in the world. A Light Rail operates between the airport and the city center and connected to the subway will be completed soon. It will be available to provide convenient travel and transportation services for magicians traveling to Beijing to attend the FISM WCM2009.



Beijing has several subway lines whose network covers the downtown area. Trolley buses and regular buses extend in all directions for the cost equivalent of a few Eurocents. Taxies with an official “Taxi” sign on top of the car will stop anywhere at your waving. The taxi fare is about 20 Eurocents for each kilometer traveled.



Beijing has established postal communications with all the countries and populated areas in the world. International direct phone dialing reaches 260 countries and regions. Postal services, telecommunication and the Internet connections provide for an obstacle free information expressway throughout Beijing. While visiting Beijing, you can still be connected to the rest of the world!
